Dr. Tanner Dickerson’s approach to chiropractic care is rooted in a simple belief: the human body is designed to move, adapt, and function at its best when given the right support.

He received his Bachelor of Health Sciences in Sports and Biomechanics from the University of Cincinnati in 2008, followed by his Doctorate of Chiropractic from Palmer College of Chiropractic, Florida, in 2014.

His passion for caring for families began long before becoming a chiropractor. Having experienced the benefits of chiropractic care himself as a child, Dr. Tanner developed an early appreciation for the role that thoughtful, personalized care can play throughout a person’s life.

He went on to pursue advanced education in pediatric and family chiropractic through Life University’s Department of Postgraduate Education and The Pediatric Experience, earning a Certificate of Proficiency in Pediatric and Family Chiropractic.

While pediatric, prenatal, and family chiropractic remain an important part of his specialty, his philosophy has continued to evolve toward a more comprehensive approach to health and human performance. His background in sports and biomechanics has given him a particular interest in movement, performance, recovery, and the factors that influence how the body functions as a whole.

Dr. Tanner has pursued advanced education across chiropractic, pediatric care, nutrition, movement, and performance-based care. He holds nutrition coaching certifications through Precision Nutrition and the Nutrition Coaching Institute, providing additional training in the relationship between nutrition, health, performance, recovery, and long-term wellness.

He is also certified in Dry Needling through the American Academy of Manipulative Therapy, adding another tool to his approach to addressing pain, muscular tension, mobility, and movement-related challenges.

For Dr. Tanner, great care is not about simply adding another technique or treating another symptom. It is about looking at the bigger picture; understanding the individual in front of him, identifying the factors that may be limiting their ability to function at their best, and creating a thoughtful path forward.

For children, that may mean supporting better movement, sleep, comfort, and confidence as they grow.

For parents, it may mean moving with less pain and tension, having more energy, and being able to fully show up for the people and life they love.

For athletes, it means optimizing movement, recovery, and physical performance so they can continue to train, compete, and perform at their highest level.

From newborns and children to parents, active adults, and athletes, Dr. Tanner’s goal remains the same: To optimize how you function, feel, perform, and live.

Dear friend, I hope all is well with you and that you are as healthy in body as you are strong in spirit.
